Pumpkins for Literacy
October 2019
What? We are trying to promote literacy through a “Pumpkin Decorating Contest”
When? Pumpkins are DUE to the Media Center by the start of 1st period on Friday, October 27th
Who? Individuals, classes, clubs, teams, etc. (anyone who wants to be involved!)
How? We are counting on our YOU (our teachers, club sponsors, and coaches) to promote your groups to get involved. They will decorate a pumpkin based on ANY book (the whole book itself, a scene from the book, or even a character from the book).
Why? First, you are supporting an AMAZING program and will have the bragging rights of being the sponsors of the “Pumpkin Decorating Champions”… but in case that isn’t enough, we have more prizes!
